By booking an excursion with taxiboatpuntacana.com, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Booking & Payment

  • Confirmation: All bookings are subject to availability and require full payment or a specified deposit to secure your reservation with Fun Punta Cana Tours.
  • Payment Methods: We accept major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard) as well as secure online payments via PayPal and Stripe.
  • Outstanding Balances: Full payment must be completed at least 48 hours before the scheduled excursion date. Unpaid balances may result in reservation cancellation.
  • Participant Definitions:
    • Adult: A participant aged 13 years or older.
    • Child: A participant under the age of 13 years.
    • Infant: A participant aged between zero and three years.
    • Solo: A reservation for one person.
    • Double: A reservation for two people.
    • Family: A group consisting of up to three adults and one child.
  • Tour Types:
    • Shared Tour: A group excursion where you may be joined by other travelers.
    • Private Tour: An exclusive excursion reserved solely for your private party.
  • Pickup Time: The scheduled window we begin picking up clients from their resort lobbies. Following booking confirmation, our team will contact you to confirm the exact pickup time at your specific hotel.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Customer Cancellations:
    • Full Refund: Cancellations made 72 hours or more before the excursion start time.
    • 50% Refund: Cancellations made between 24 and 72 hours before the excursion.
    • No Refund: Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure or for no-shows.
  • Company Cancellations: We reserve the right to cancel or modify tours due to unsafe weather conditions, severe marine warnings, low participation, or unforeseen operational circumstances. Affected customers will receive a 100% full refund or a free rescheduling option.
  • Processing Time: Approved refunds may take 7 to 10 business days to reflect in your banking account.

3. Participant Responsibilities

  • Safety Compliance: All guests must follow instructions from guides, captains, and crew members at all times. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal from the tour without a refund.
  • Health & Fitness: Guests must disclose relevant medical conditions, severe allergies, or mobility restrictions during the booking process. Certain rugged or water-based tours require minimum physical fitness levels.
  • Punctuality: Please arrive at your designated meeting point or hotel lobby 15 minutes before departure. Late arrivals will be treated as no-shows and forfeit participation.

4. Liability Waiver

  • Assumption of Risk: Participation in aquatic and off-road excursions is at your own risk. We are not liable for personal injuries, property losses, or damages arising from natural disasters, accidents, third-party actions, or failure to follow safety guidelines.
  • Travel Insurance: We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance prior to your trip to cover unexpected cancellations, medical injuries, or emergencies.

5. Privacy Policy

  • Data Collection: We collect personal information (such as your name, email, and secure payment details) solely to process bookings and communicate essential updates.
  • GDPR Compliance: All data is stored securely and is never shared with third parties without your explicit consent.

6. Force Majeure

We are not liable for tour cancellations, modifications, or travel delays caused by unforeseeable events beyond our control, including:

  • Natural disasters (hurricanes, tropical storms, severe earthquakes).
  • Political unrest, civil strikes, pandemics, or government travel restrictions.

7. Dispute Resolution

  • Governing Law: Any legal disputes are subject to the laws and jurisdiction of the Dominican Republic.
  • Mediation: Participating parties agree to attempt resolving any issues through good-faith mediation before pursuing formal legal action.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update, amend, or modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of our website and excursion services constitutes your formal acceptance of the revised terms.
